I guess you're right abt the apparent lack of sharpness in the posted image. The image was scanned on a Nikon Coolsan 4000 @ 4000dpi . The detail is there all right coz on a 30x40cm print you can see each tiny ripple on the water's surface.
I guess it must be the jpeg compression and downsampling to web size that lost some detail. I did not re sharpen after downsampling. on the web its only 700px on the longest side so i expect some detail to be lost. Patrick On 5/3/06, Tom C <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote:
