Picassa2

For some time I've used Picassa2 to look at the Ds RAW files before 
starting to process with RSE and Photoshop CS. But this morning I 
thought "What the hell!" and used it to alter contrast and brightness 
and added some fill light in some cases. The results are pretty good. If 
it were not that Picassa2 alters the originals I think I might start 
using it to do the whole job. In fact, I'm going to copy two sets of 
files from a card and see how Picassa2 results compare with the normal 
RSE converted output. Of course I'll still have to use CS for scaling 
(Genuine Fractals), to add sharpening in some cases and make the final 
TIFF.
