Have you checked with Verizon? Their wireless internet network is
expansive. And I think Direct TV now has satellite internet. Also,
Comcast claims to have complete coverage of the Bay area for cable
internet.

a point of information, a friend in Marin County couldn't get a high

connection until just a few months ago. Yet people I know who lived

to him could get such a connection. There are friends who live within

only excuse for a dial up these days is that there simply is nothing
better available in your area. I am pretty certain that is not the

out there in the SF area, I mean both DSL and Cable are available in
Boone NC, for cripe's sake. And the cost is not an issue; I am sure
that
I pay a higher percentage of my income than almost anyone on the list
for a HS connection, which is why I am not very sympathetic to your
plight.
