The Super Program is a nice camera (I had 2 Super A's).

The camera is very nice. I was very surpised how compact it is. Photo's somehow gave me the impression of a much larger camera.

It's bigger with a winder or motor drive on it. But it's very much in keeping with Pentax's M cameras.

The question is what lenses she is going to take off you to go with it.

Now there's a problem. I bought the camera because of the A50/1,4 that came with it. I am absolutely stunned by the first photo's I took with that lens. It might very well replace the Tamron SP90/2,5 as my favourite lens. Which means my two best lenses are the ones best suited to the camera... I could try to give her my A50/1,7. Personally I don't really like it, but she might think differently (or simply not care ;-)

I took lots of nice pictures with my M50 f1.7 and MX when I was younger.

What sort of pictures does she take? 50 and 90mm lenses might be completely wrong for her.

My wife used to carry a Topcon and 3 primes around with her before she met me. After one photo expedition where she complained about the weight I suggested that if she had a Pentax she could use some of my lenses and not have to carry a whole kit. About 2 months later she came home with an MZ3 and 43mm limited. Now she mainly acts as assistant while I take pictures, as long as I also take the ones that she wants.
