That sounds familiar. It's tough to decide where to put your money. I
had to spring for the DA 12-24, because I have to shoot some interiors
for paying jobs. But it was a big outlay. I can't take the time to
stitch them all. My next biggy may be the new D, if it proves to be as
much of an upgrade as some predict. I need a new laptop as well, but
I'm hoping they'll get me one at work. Decisions, decisions.

Unfortunately, I'm guessing that poor Mr. G4 dual 867 is going to be
slower than your new box. And he's had his upgrades for the year -- I
blew the budget on the DS2, some SD cards, another hard drive and a
USB 2.0 upgrade card to speed up my importing.
The next big job money goes into iBook repair or replacement, I think.
Maybe not. Maybe a lens.
