I haven't read the Bruce Fraser book but since its mention I've read many of his on-line articles and overall he seems to be describing the use of the RAW convertor as a photographic tool so I can't see why it wouldn't be appropriate? In any case the thread appears to be turning out a bit like another recent and forgettable flaming session.
