The Sigma 70-200 f2.8 is highly regarded. I have one and can attest that it is very sharp. If you don't need the speed or would like to avoid the weight, the DA 50-200 is pretty fair for the price. Or wait for the forthcoming DA 50-135 f2.8. Joe
