You'll probably have to. Windows 98 has very little support for external USB drives (which is what your camera will appear to be), card readers, etc. So most card readers probably won't work on Windows 98. Some of the Pentax-supplied software doesn't run on Windows 98, either. I don't recall just what, but I believe you can get by without using it. But Pentax *do* have a reason for not listing Windows 98 as a supported configuration. If your hardware is good enough, Windows XP is far superior to Windows 98. And if your hardware isn't up to running Windows XP, it's probably not going to be much fun using it for 6MP images.
