The owner of my local camera shop surprised me by offering to sell me the FB-1 system finder base and FC-1 action eyepiece together for $100. They're even brand new in the box - though the top cap for the FB-1 is broken. Otherwise, they're flawless. B&H wants $249 for the base and $99 for the eyepiece, both from their used department. Needless to say, I decided budget be damned, it's going home with me. I'll just have to eat ramen noodles for a month. :)
I wonder if the decrease in popularity of film will cause accessories such as this for the pro film cameras to severely drop in price. I have noticed that high end Nikon film stuff is selling far cheaper than just a couple years ago, and it seems to me that the Pentax stuff hasn't dropped nearly as much - actually going up in some cases. __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
