I have amused myself a couple of times by comparing the prices of Pentax, Nikon, and Canon used cameras in the KEH catalog.
For whatever reason, Pentax cameras are holding their value better than the competition. For example, the prices of (P)Z-1ps are down about 50% in the past 18 months (to about $250 for EX or EX+), but the EOS-5/A2E and N90s/F90s are down about 75%--they can be had for only $125-150.
