I really want a longer lens, but it's no use unless it's fast, so I'm pondering (this isn't unusual) getting something (this would be) that is both. =-O

Soo...
Given that I already have a fast 200mm prime, which of the following lenses would you recommend for general purpose wildlife photography (including, but not limited to, small bird photography)?

K (or takumar) 500mm f4.5
Tamron Adaptall SP 300mm F/2.8 LD (IF?) (These are known to my spell checker as "adapt all tampon[s]"!) :-D Tokina AT-X 300mm F2.8 SD. ( Do/did they make this in K mount (would it be possible to -cottyrize- one)?)

AF is not necessary nor is auto aperture and though auto indexing is nice I can live without it. With that in mind do you have any other suggestions of things I should look in to? I'm hoping to find a "user" (with good or fixable glass) for somewhere around $500 Canadian.

Thanks in advance,
Francis

p.s.
If any one on the list has something applicable, that they want to get off their hands cheap, please let me know. :-)
