Tokina do/did make a 300 2.8 SD lens and it's a beauty. I had one that i
used with the LX a lot. There's a pic of it on this page:

Excellent lens, sharp and fast, but I don't know about cheap. Examine eBay.
I don't know, they seem to be quite expensive from most retailers but
going for (comparatively) not to much on ebay. A Canon FD mount one went
for $202 US today (the reserve wasn't met but the buy now price was only
$800 or so).
