That's probably not all wrong, Pål - but perhaps it's wishful thinking.
I basically want better image quality (more MP and lower noise) and of
course faster everything (AF, FPS, Write-Speed).
And perhaps flash compensation for external flash (for fill-in purposes). I
am quite happy with the D, but need some improvements, before I want to buy
a new DSLR.

I believe it will have USN as well. Why? Because Pentax are about to release
a new lens series. If they don't release USM now, they probably never will.
I think USM will be important because all of the competition have it. I
think Pentax made the Samsung deal in order to able to market new technology
onto the market.
