Cool photo... nice colours.

We have a whole heap of monarchs here as they like feeding on one of our flowering shrubs. After watching them for a bit I'm amazed at the amount of control they have over their flight, even in a strong wind. They always looked so clumsy.

Watching them hatch out of their chrysalis is pretty interesting, too. I shot a whole sequence of the process a few years ago.

The Focus on the insect could have been better but I was really trying to shoot the flower after all...
I have to admit it would have been a poor enough photo of a flower.
