Hello Sanford,
Welcome to the list. I am a newcomer myself but I have been lurking
for a while. There is plenty of both wit and wisdom on the list. It
is up to you to figure out which is which.

As for a zoom in the 20-35mm range. While I do not have the FA 20-35
it is suppose to be a very good lens. The DA 16-45 is also an
excellent lens but it is designed for APS-C digital only. I
understand that it covers the full 35mm frame only down to about 24mm.
Do you want the zoom for digital only of for both film and digital?
I have the DA 16-45 and like most who have to really like it.

Perry.
