1. Do you feel you understand the histogram?
Yes (due to using it frequently in Photoshop and other programs).
2. Do you ever look at the histogram while you are shooting? When? Under what situations?
Rarely. I think I could/can guess from the review image what the histogram would look like.
3. Do you ever look at the blinkies? When? Under what situations?
Yes. The light here (Darwin) can be very bright, even with overcast conditions, and highlights (skies, white and reflective surfaces) can blow out very easily. A quick check of the blinkies allows me to fix the problem.
4. Do you find one of them (histogram or blinkies) more useful than the other? Do you look at it more? Or do you tend to use both in concert?
