Adobe Gamma is only able to roughly set screen gamma (linearity), it
shouldn't
affect monitor colour rendition. If your Spyder profile is creating a
visible
colour cast then something has gone seriously wrong somewhere in the
process.
Gamma can be made to work in all three colours, and is definitely able to
affect colour rendition.
