My current roll of printer paper is almost finished and I'm
considering different options for restocking. The roll I'm using at
the moment is Premium Glossy which I was lucky to find in an
Australian-owned retail chain. They don't seem to stock it anymore
so it looks like the only stuff I can get in this size is Premium
Semigloss.
There are a couple of interesting-looking papers which aren't
available here so I'm thinking of ordering from B+H while the
exchange rate is good. The first is Premium Luster which
photographers seem to be raving about. The other is the PremierArt
Water Resistant Canvas as I'm interested in trying out canvas
printing. Despite being canvas it's actually listed as having a
glossy surface which presumably means I won't need to use the Matte
Black ink.
I'd appreciate it if anyone has used either of these papers and could
offer comments.
On another note I'd love it if I could convince my printer that it's
really a 2200. This means I could load the US driver which has
support for the whole range of papers. I really hate it when
manufacturers arbitrarily restrict certain markets.
