 My son has expressed an interest in photography but I am reluctant to let
 him borrow my good gear. For much less than the cost of a Pentax lens, I can
 buy a Ricoh KR-5 Super II with a Rikenon 35-70 lens for him from a friend. I
 thought that once he gets the hang of that and if he is still interested, he
 could use some of my better lenses.
 Would appreciate any thoughts about the Ricoh and its lens as a student
 camera.
