So, for me, good tools have made a hell of a difference in my life, and I
really do think that the tool can be the difference between a quality job
and a mediocre one.
My experience over the past couple of years has really brought this home
for me.
Bill, I'd agree with you with just one addition to the above. Good tools
in the hands of bad craftsman cannot guarantee a quality outcome.
Bad craftsman: oxymoron.
Absolutely. But craftsmanship is a state of mind. If you are a craftsman in
a field, it's becuase you show an interest in craftmanship.
I discovered that this interest is transportable.
However, my old junky tools just were't able to make straight cuts, so no
level of craftsmanship was going to help.
