I meant for you to upload a crop of the interpolated file. Just the license plate and a wee bit more for example. . It doesn't matter what the ppi is set at. The file is still the same size. It will just change proportion when the ppi is changed. It's 147 meg because it's still 16 bit. At 8 bit, it would be 73 megs or thereabouts. It has to be 8 bit for printing, although it's good to make any photoshop modifications at 16 bit.

Hi Paul,

When uprezzing to the largest file size I get 147mb, not 72. Should the ppi be changed from 240? IAC, uploading the whole file seems pointless,
but, as is often the case, I may be missing something. It would take a
l-o-n-g time for me to make such an upload.

Underexposure will cause a bit of noise. I can't really tell how much
noise your camera is generating from these small images. There doesn't
appear to be an excessive amount . A good ISO 200 image won't show any
noise printed at 13 x19 from a 72 meg upsized file and viewed with the
naked eye, but I wouldn't say it's "noise free." Can you post 100% of
an image interpolated up to 72 megabytes (max size on from the PSCS RAW
converter)?
