The Hassy experience is pretty similar to a TLR, as long as you're using
the waist-level finder. Shorter and a little heavier though.
Love the feel of them.

And I'll be able to develop film as long as I can get Folger's
Crystals and baking soda. Folgernol always works in a pinch. Yes, i
shoot B&W. And I'm not worried about it going away, although I expect
it will become as difficult to acquire as 8x10 sheet film is currently.

But if you want to take that tack, then why should I use anythning
other than my circa-1956 Super Ricohflex. I can make good
photographs on that (And have done so).
