Because linear dimensions will vary according to monitor settings.
Try setting image size in pixels, like 600 by 400. A pixel is a pixel and will not vary as the linear dimension will on various monitor settings.

I selected this ones because composition, light and focus appear very nice. I must admit these pictures are selected out of a shoot of more than a dozen.

Something that surprises me, is the difference in color. The second picture looks quite dull, as compared to the first. Maybe influenced by the back light and different moment of the day, or is this actually the difference between Pentax glass and Russian glass?
