I am not blind, and I am not crazy. Well, ........at least not blind! ;-) My A50/1.4 focuses "long" on the D. It's been verified by 2 independent testers. I let a friend of mine who is quite a good photographer, and a friend of hers who is a PnS shooter try it. At f/1.4 it is almost impossible to get focus where you want it, almost always farther out than you expect. I think the few that are right on are "lucky misses".
