Fred, It's nice to hear you are enjoying the DS, I think Shel will too. I've got 1,000 jpg's out of mine since mid June. (I'll get to RAW eventually.) Still on the original batteries and no firmware upgrades yet. Mostly I'm using AF lenses - AF50/1.4 and F28/2.8. Used the AF70-210/4-5.6 at the airshow. I have no problems with the A400/5.6 or A20/2.8 either. The last is a nice wide alternative. Regards, Bob S.
