I like it Christian. I works in stark isolation, but is softened due to the subject. I have a minor nit with the horizontal placement within the frame. Since the duck is facing to the right, most of the weight should be (as you have it) left of center. It's just the slightest bit too far left for me. I understand the ripple distortion of the head, but can't let in alone while viewing. I'd find myself messing with the clone tool trying to reduce its distraction factor.
