By the way, the disaster down on the Gulf Coast has to be showing that hams can still perform valuable emergency communications (what with the shortage of electricity mains, telephones, and cell phone access). There'll likely be a lot of NiMH's and other batteries in use helping desperate people to communicate. Fred W. (K1FW)
