This issue was one of the reasons that I picked up digital when I did.
The labs here (Sacramento) had largely moved to digital and were
scanning and printing my 67 negs.  The scans were not that
good, just what the Agfa D-Lab or Fuji Frontier can do.  So my MF
size advantage was largely lost unless I went to one of the labs that
was doing drum scans - they were very expensive.  Wouldn't do at all
for my wedding and portrait work - just too costly.
