Boris, It may be my monitor, but there are a number of areas of blocked highlights. (cap, face, neck...). I would certainly give those facial areas a chance to reflect the subject's character. Difficult to draw an opinion as is. The non-interfering left edge mottled area is consistent enough not to be that distracting to me.
