sure, but, as i have pointed out, pentax is right in the middle of competition,
right now. it's not in front of the pack, but neither is nikon nor minolta.
is canon doing better? probably. good for them.

i think that is *very* relevant. this tells that pentax has better
digital solutions
than about any competitors, with two exceptions. is it going to get
99% market share?
now, that is, i think, is irrelevant. look at "dying" mac, linux, suns, etc...

because in a very short time frame, i will also come to a dead end, so
the prospects
of faraway future are not a big concern of mine.
