Been a fairly productive weekend. This was taken in Santa Cruz this
past Saturday morning, testing the 100-300 zoom with 2x teleconverter
... tripod mounted of course.

Godfrey, a question for you... If you drop the teleconverter (no, not on
the concrete) and use the 100-300 zoom alone. And if at the end you
simply crop out the half frame you were after. And finally, if you res
it up to the original 6MP resolution.
How these two pics (with TC and without) would compare?
