It's a nice evening here. Actually, it's about a perfect evening
here. Not a cloud in the sky. About 22 degrees. Perfect late May
evening, it is.

I saw my fat cat, Patches sitting on a tree stump out back,
luxuriating in that late day sun. "I'll take a pic of her", thinks I.
Grab the only body of mine that currently has film in it, which
happens to be the "flash-less" LX, onto which I've placed the FA-2
finder - that's the one with no flash shoe (since the flash doesn't
work anyway...).

<aside> That body sure is pretty with that finder on it <aside over>

Then, as I was adjusting the aperture, I noticed (again) that there's
no little optical thingie that reads the aperture from the lens,
meaning that I can't see aperture info in the viewfinder.

It's not a Great Big Huge Deal (but I do rather miss it), but ever
since I got that particular finder, I've been meaning to ask if anyone
knows why that feature isn't on that finder.

Thanks.

cheers,
frank
