I've carried a roll of seamless paper to a location. At the location, I attached one end to the top of a wall with duct tape. A pain but it works. One could also carry a portable backdrop stand and then mount the paper roll (or a cloth backdrop) on the stand.

Hello!

I have yet another question.
What have people used as a portable background (backdrop) for
shooting in a room away from a studio.
Any improvised solutions?

Also, - what have worked for you, and equially importantly -
what have NOT?

Thanks in advance,

Igor
