The "Kodak Pocket Photoguide".

A compilation of all those things you need to know but always forget. Handy little
computers for most everyting, including an any film replacement for those exposure
charts they used to pack with film. Fits in a shirt pocket or your gadget bag. I
have the current edition for my 35mm and an older one for my Graphic press camera
(it has things like DOF for the big camera & lens, and flashbulb info that the
newer one doesn't).

I recommended this handy little guide here a few years back and several folks
started using one. The way to use it is to look through it several times to
become familiar then carry it with your camera.

The Sekonic website has an article about incident light metering
http://www.sekonic.com/BenefitsOfIncident.html that is very useful in
understanding exposure even if you do not use an incident meter. I do however
recommend incident meters for general photography. they provide for very
consist exposures, because they measure the light level rather than the
brightness of the object being photographed.
