Hi Ann, Your question prompted me to stick a dark red filter on my Sony - a #29 - really dark! - and make a couple of comparison shots. Looks like, apart from the film v digital response characteristics, the filter should work the same. I'll post a pic later if you care to see the results. Not in the mood to do it now. POL and UV should work about the same on digi as on film.
