That was what the guy at Photo tech told me - I'll have to learn about what the red channel is.
Simulating the filters in Photoshop is easier than carrying a bunch of filters around, but you can only accurately simulate a limited range of filter effects. For example, you can buy a number of red filters that do different things to your photo, but there's only one red channel...
