I can't imagine finding an acceptable B&W solution, Paul. I've looked at so many B&W prints that had their basis in digital, processed and printed a myriad of different ways, on different papers, with different printers, different labs, exhibition quality and crap, and I've yet to find a single one that provides what conventional B&W film does when printed on real silver paper. I'm of the mindset that it'll never happen, no matter how good digital gets, because there are just too many physical differences between the processes.
