Believe it or not, and this has never happened before, I got through to the 
Nikon
Assistant Service 
Manager first try.

WooHoo.:-)

Spent a few minutes on the phone describing the situation, and he said it 
sounds like they
"May not 
have calibrated the new board" after replacement.
I quess spending $4500 on a camera only warrents partial service in Canada.:-)
Hows that eh.

Anyway, they have me penciled in as a rush,as i may be able to get it  to them 
Tuesday or
Friday.
Because i own a " Nikon Professional Product" i can jump the queue a bit.

So that answers part of the "What's a pro camera question" anyway.  <vbg>
