My bad :-(

I still haven't got accustomed to photo.net's changed UI.  The details used
to load on the display page IIRC, now you need to select a tab, which I
mostly don't get around to.

I guess that the sequence setting on the *istD was fast enough to blast off
a few frames before the spider moved, if it moved at all.  Mostly, spiders
are content to sit still and be photographed, the ones that don't attack,
that is.  

A colleague of mine once had the 'pleasure' of photographing a Sydney Funnel
Web Spider in a studio.  It had to be contained in a glass walled enclosure,
and repeatedly lunged at the camera.  Multi image layering would not have
been an option.
