<LOL>  Similar thing happened here.  I moved about 18gb of data via USB 1.1
from my old 'puter to the new one, xferring the data to a small LaCie USB
2.0 "pocket"  hard drive and then to the new machine.  It didn't take near
as long probably because I was using a portable disc drive, but it was
quite a while nonetheless.  Moving the data to the new machine was more a
matter of minutes.
