Go for the battery contact with a grit pencil eraser but I wouldn't clean the camera contacts with anything but alcohol, they are gold plated, they won't be the source of your problems unless they have been chemically etched by leaking cells. > Any thoughts on how to best clean the contacts at the bottom (top really) > of the battery compartment?
