They were also sold as typewriter erasers, same thing only less 
expensive in the good old days, when there were typewriters. 
Try an electronics store, if you're in the US depending on where you are 
Fryes Electronics, or the
ubiquitous Radio Shack, though Fryes is more likely to stock such an item.
