G'day John,

It may very well have been the card. It was a 256 Sandisk Ultra II. I
don't use it much anymore and have had no problems at all since I got
the same card in 1GB.

I still re-format the card after downloading files. It's probably
unnecessary, but I don't think it does any harm.
