OT: Warning to Mac Users

You may want to wait a while to upgrade to system 10.3.9 if you have 
multiple user accounts. Apple may be coming out with a bug fix. I did 
the upgrade two days ago, and three of the five user accounts on my G4 
dual 1.25 were rendered useless. (Fortunately the Administrator's 
account was intact.) Log in to the three affected accounts was 
impossible. I spent three hours on the phone with Apple techs 
yesterday, and they talked me through a variety of attempted repairs 
from Terminal, all to no avail. Fortunately OSX allows for the deletion 
of accounts while saving any desktop files, mailboxes, etc. So I was 
able to delete and reconstruct the accounts. Apple techs had no 
explanation but seemed to agree that it had something to do with the 
upgrade to 10.3.9. I upgraded the system on my I-book G3 700 as well. 
That computer has only two user accounts and no problems were 
experienced.
