If Canon *wanted* to, they could probably make a full-frame DSLR for
under $4000 now. But it would pretty stupid of them, considering they
can barely meet demand for their $8000 camera! Right now Canon has a
huge lead in sensor technology. We're going to have to wait until others
catch up (or at least until they get to where Canon is now, even though
Canon will have moved on by then.)
