i seriously doubt FF from Pentax is in the works for a very long time. why make a mediocre spec FF sensor body at that price when you can make a high spec one with a APS sensor? FF sensor prices aren't going to change much for at least 2-3 years.

I'd want a FF sensor, general K mount compatibility, no loss of features from the *ist D, with a minimum of double the MP of the *ist D, hopefully triple. I'd like to see improvements in buffer size and throughput, and the ability to use CF or SD would be nice.

Given that, I'd be willing to pay around 2X - 3X the price I paid for the *ist D. So assuming it was 12MP, I'd like to see a price between $3000 - $3500. If it was 18MP +/- 2MP then I'd be willing to pay $4000 - $5000.

I don't think that price point is too untenable, especially since I wouldn't expect to see something like that in the next 12 months.
