It all depends on what you use it for.  For me, I probably adjust the
manually-selected AF point more frequently than any other control
(even including shutter speed or aperture speed).  Used like that,
and generally under reasonable lighting, I have had very few issues.

That's one reason why I'll take the MZ-S, rather than the PZ-1p, as
a film body to acompany the *ist-D, even though the control layout
and operational style on the PZ is much closer to the *ist-D.
