Whatever lens I'm using, I personally find it easier to focus on the point I want to be in focus, keep the shutter button partly depressed, frame the shot, then fire. Never got to grips with multiple focus points, which just seem a gimmick. I suppose if the lens is on a tripod it might make sense to use them.

You know, I have some quite fine MF glass, the idea that I have to focus (sometimes for electronics to confirm) and re-compose really sucks. With MZ-6 that would be fine, taking into account its AF regions. With *istD it seems to be a great waste...

Am I nuts as usual?
