I seem to recall it blanked out on me with the M75-150/4 and the
M80-200/4.5. I also seem to recall a discussion that in general it did
not couple well with slow zooms (or was it long?), of which there are
plenty right now.
Just speculating,
Quite possible. In some situations, it did blank out. I believe
it was related to long lenses and the angle the light comes in from...
something like that. Still, for general shooting it's quite useful.
