Andre mentioned the Pentax PC35AF the other day in a post
about classic 35 rangefinders and I thought I'd go looking for
one.
I got one from eekBay in "for parts" condition for $4.99.
The ad said that the battery chamber was corroded from the
batteries leaking, figured I could fix it.
I did, but holy cow!
The entire winding mechanism and a good part of the wiring
was frozen/corroded/nasty!
However, doing without the luxury of sleep last night, it's ALIVE!
Super cute camera, and that nice Pentax Purple/Green glow to
the lens.

Haven't cleaned the outside yet, but ain't he cute?
Incredibly complex inside for the type of camera and its age.
Can't wait to see some pics. ;-)
